I am now retired after 40 years in the computer business, where I started as a programmer in Haldor Topsøe in 1965. My last position was as an IT specialist in Privatbanken / Unibank / Nordea / Nordic Processor, where I worked for 25 years. In between, I worked almost six years in the Swedish company Datema when it had an office in Copenhagen.

As you can see, I look happy. That's because I am working on my website. I like that kind of work. Since I retired, I also do website development for others. Therefore, if you need a nice website for yourself, your company or your association, don't hesitate to contact me for an offer.

My latest computer related activity is creating themes (background pictures) for my HP iPAQ 914c Pocket PC cell phone. They are available for download on the Themes page.

I am very fond of good food and I also enjoy to prepare it myself. After a tiring day I find it relaxing to spend some time in the kitchen cooking a nice meal. Then I can stop thinking about house and garden work and computers for a while. However, when it comes to doing the dishes, I prefer to leave that to others.

When I was still single, I used to travel a lot, especially in South East Asia and the Far East. I find most of the countries in that region very fascinating. Is was on a trip to the Philippines that I met Mercy - and we ended up getting married! Sometimes we go back to her country to visit the family there. We have our own house in Mangatarem, Pangasinan and we enjoy to stay there and relax. You may see some pictures from our trip there in December 2003.

We also have a new summer house near Rågeleje (red on the map) here in Denmark. In the summer time we go there as often as possible. The original house, which was very old and small (but still very charming), was demolished at the end of 2003. In January 2004 we started building the new house, which was finished in March. It is a Jeppesen Bjælkehus and it is very nice and comfortable. Now we can also stay there during winter even though it is very cold outside.

I am a board member of the local landowners' association called Stokkebro and we have our own website, for which I am the webmaster.
